ICE Arrests 12 Illegal Aliens (On Army National Guard Base)

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Release:
LITTLE ROCK, Ark.– Special agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) today [Thursday] arrested nine males, two females and one juvenile male, all illegal aliens, employed by two different companies performing contract work at Camp Joseph T. Robinson Army National Guard Base. One of the companies who hired the workers was identified as El Nopal, a dining facility contractor. The other company, contracted to do landscape work, was not immediately identified. All of those arrested are Mexican nationals. All have been placed in removal proceedings for being in violation of U.S. immigration laws. Their immigration status makes it illegal for them to work in the United States. At this time, none of those arrested have been identified as having worked at the base in the past.

KeepArkansasLegal, an immigration reform group based in central Arkansas , commends the Army National Guard personnel, the Arkansas Police Department, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement for taking part in the May 10th arresting of 12 illegal aliens working at Camp Joseph T. Robinson Army National Guard Base. We are glad that the 12 citizens of Mexico will be returned to the country that neglected them and that there were no terrorist activities that occurred. Since illegal aliens are only 4.4% of the US workforce, we know that Camp Robinson will be able to find assistance from the overwhelming majority of companies that uses legal workers.

This incident should be yet another wakeup call for the Federal, State and Local governments to stop pandering to the illegal alien agenda and fix our immigration system. We do not need the next Fort Dix terror plot, or the next drunk driving fatality involving an illegal alien, or the next 9/11 in the State of Arkansas . Letting a few greedy companies get cheap labor and allowing corrupt regimes to exploit their people is not as important as the safety of the Arkansas Taxpayer. Arkansas , Along with the rest of The United States of America, needs to follow the actions of the State of Georgia , which is starting to remove its illegal alien population by attrition and enforcement.

Well, they should not have been arrested while working on a National Guard base so long as they are wearing one of these t-shirts:
