Amnesty Amendments May Surface in Senate TODAY
Call Your Senators Now!!!

There is no time to waste! Senate staffers have informed FAIR that the Iraq War Supplemental Bill is today becoming the vehicle for all sorts of disastrous immigration amendments. This bill is being marked up in the Appropriations Committee this afternoon and may be on the Senate floor any time. In particular, the Senate Appropriations Committee has just adopted an AgJobs amendment offered by Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA). AgJobs, as you may remember, grants amnesty to millions of illegal alien agricultural workers in the U.S. and makes it easier for agribusiness to import more foreign guest workers. FAIR is working at this very moment to learn the details of this amendment.

FAIR also has learned that Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) intends to bring up an amendment to the bill that would dramatically expand the number of unskilled H-2B guest workers by reinstating the returning worker exemption that expired last year.
Please call your Senators THIS INSTANT and let them know you oppose these amendments and any other amendments that grant amnesty or are designed to help big corporations import more foreign guest workers!!!!!!! To find your Senators phone numbers, click here.
