AMNESTY ALERT! and a weird robbery!

From the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR):

Backroom Negotiations in House May Bring Comprehensive Immigration Reform "Lite" to the Floor! Call Your Representatives NOW!!!!!

Capitol Hill news sources have been buzzing for the past 48 hours about backroom negotiations in the House of Representatives that may bring comprehensive immigration reform "lite" to the floor. Congressional Quarterly reports that Congressman Joe Baca (D-CA), Chairman of the Hispanic Caucus, is leading the fight for legislation that would provide a five-year amnesty visa to illegal aliens currently in the U.S. Baca said the five-year amnesty visas would be available to illegal aliens who can "prove they have a job, pay taxes and pass a criminal background check." (Congressional Quarterly Today, February 13, 2008) The negotiations for the five-year amnesty visas are already taking place at the highest levels of House leadership. They include Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Immigration Subcommittee Chairwoman ZoĆ« Lofgren (D-CA) and are reportedly bipartisan in nature. Speaker Pelosi, however, denies there has been any firm decision to move forward. (Id.) Not surprisingly, jumping on the visa bandwagon are business interests that have been attempting for months to secure an increase in H-2B visas—visas for unskilled workers.

These business interests have made repeated, but failed attempts since the demise of the 2007 Bush-Kennedy amnesty bill to increase the number of H-2B visas so employers could import more cheap foreign labor. Now they are at it again and Congress seems willing to listen, even during a period of economic downturn in the U.S.! Congressman Xavier Becerra (D-CA), assistant to Speaker Pelosi, confirmed that Leadership was attempting to find some "relief" for employers who cannot get enough foreign labor due to the caps set forth by law. (Congress Daily, February 13, 2008) Commenting on these negotiations, the senior manager for immigration policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce said, "I think there is some type of deal in the works." (Congressional Quarterly Today, February 13, 2008) . Please call your Representatives NOW and tell them you want them to reject this plan to reward special interests. Insist that instead of working on comprehensive immigration reform "lite" they get to work on serious enforcement legislation. Tell them you oppose all forms of amnesty and oppose allowing big business to import even more cheap foreign workers so they can increase their profits at the expense of U.S. workers and wages!!!

Meanwhile... Back in Arkansas.

Illegal immigrant slave owner John Tyson was apparently robbed sometime last year by some party animals! The story states that 3 people had stolen somewhere between $140,000 and $160,000 in cash from the Tyson home around 12/27. On Jan. 2, John Tyson reported the theft of the cash from his residence. Tyson said he had collected the money over time and had the money in a briefcase he kept in his private living quarters of his home.

My question is why does a guy collect several thousand dollars over a period of time and puts it in a suitcase? Is this how John pays his illegals? Can taxpayers have a party at John's house for having to pay for the benefits of his illegal workers?

Check out the story here:

Tyson Foods illegal immigrant lawsuit thrown out

By Bill Poovey The Associated Press Writer

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - A federal judge threw out a long-running lawsuit that accused Tyson Foods of hiring illegal immigrants to depress wages. U.S. District Judge Curtis L. Collier in a Wednesday order granted the Springdale-based company's motion for a summary judgment in the 2002 damage suit. An attorney for Tyson, Roger Dickson of Chattanooga, said the company was happy with the ruling. He declined comment about any possible implications for other businesses that might face similar claims. The attorney for four employees who sued, Howard Foster of Chicago, said when contacted by phone Wednesday that he did not have time to comment. The lawsuit by Birda Trollinger, Robert Martinez, Tabetha Edding and Doris Jewell sought compensation, contending the company violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act by knowingly hiring illegal immigrants who were willing to work for wages below those acceptable to Americans. The judge's order said "plaintiffs failed to demonstrate Tyson was harboring or concealing illegal aliens" at its plants in Shelbyville, Tenn.; Ashland, Gadsden and Heflin in Alabama; Center, Texas; Glen Allen, Va. and Sedalia, Mo. The order said plaintiffs provided evidence that could have been presented to a jury to show Tyson was concealing unauthorized employees at its Corydon, Ind., facility but failed to show that Tyson's violations "caused their injuries."

In May 2002, Tyson filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, contending that because its workers are covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the union and not individual workers would have to pursue claims of damage. A federal judge dismissed the lawsuit, but an appeals court disagreed and said it could proceed. At one point Collier had suggested possibly involving a mediator in an attempt to reach a settlement. The company's lead attorney, Tom Green of Washington, D.C., said then Tyson was not inclined to participate in such discussions. Green previously said the legal fight was about costing Tyson millions of dollars to be in a case they should not be in. Green in 2003 successfully defended Tyson and three former managers accused of conspiring to hire illegal immigrants from Mexico and Central America for low-wage production jobs to boost profits. Two former Tyson managers who made plea deals were each sentenced to one year of probation. Green and other Tyson attorneys had argued that if the company hired illegal workers, it was because of the underground market for phony immigration papers and the government's flawed system of screening immigrants.

Of course Tyson Foods spent around $500,000 in the first half of 2007 on lobbying. They are a large part of the reason why the government's screening system is flawed. An anti-American Federal Judge overturned the will of the people in California by removing Prop 187, and of course the pro-illegal crowd often goes to the leftist run courts to get it's way around the will of citizens. With this story along with the fact the media has forced us to chose a pro-Amnesty President, it's clear the Federal Government is not going to deal with illegal immigration.

Busy Weekend!

Last weekend was very busy. We had our meeting at the Coffee Beanery which other than the sun in our eyes was a great place to eat and meet. We got to discuss the Presidental election and status of the Arkansas Republican Party. The next President of the United States is most likely to be someone with a bad record on illegal immigration and there does not seem to be much in the way of immigration reform candidates who are campaigning right now in Arkansas. It was determined that the best way to stop illegal immigration was to work on ballot initiatives. I won't go into details about what we decided, but I will say that we have a long way to go and we will need some help on stopping illegal immigration. I'll let you know about our next meet ASAP.

Sunday, a few members of our group attended the Worldview Weekend Seminar. Most of the seminar talked about how Christians were being led away by leftist ideals and how to stop children in Christian households from becoming leftist. Many Christians who know what to do about abortion and other issues become confused about illegal immigration. We handed out information to people as they left the seminar.

McCain strongest on the War on Terror?

The media have done a great job of making us forget this story. I didn't think about it until today. After hearing for the thousanth time that McCain was the strongest on The War on Terror, I thought about his immigration record and about Terrorism. It does appear that in dealing with terrorism overseas both McCain and Romney would use the military in the proper way to deal with terrorist. It is doubtful that either candidate would let Iran get away with making nukes. With the exception of waterboarding and getting off foreign oil with our own oil McCain and Romney are the same on the foreign aspect of The War on Terror. The question then becomes what about the domestic War on Terror. I came across a detailed story about the terrorist involved in the Fort Dix Plot from freerepublic.com. I think everyone should see this and realize that the Comprehensive Immigration Bills of 06 and 07 would have put 3 terrorist on the path to citizenship!

A closer look at the men charged with plotting to attack Fort Dix. The information was provided by the U.S. Department of Justice:
• Mohamad Ibrahim Shnewer, 22, of Cherry Hill. He was born in Jordan, is a U.S. citizen, and is employed as a taxicab driver in Philadelphia.
• Eljvir Duka, 23, of Cherry Hill, also goes by "Elvis Duka" and "Sulayman," was born in the former Yugoslavia. Duka is illegally residing in the United States and operates businesses known as Qadr. Inc., Colonial Roofing and National Roofing, all of which list business addresses the same as his residence.
• Dritan Duka, 28, of Cherry Hill, also goes by "Distan Duka," "Anthony Duka" and "Tony Duka." He was born in the former Yugoslavia, is illegally residing in the United States, and operates businesses known as Colonial Roofing and National Roofing, both of which list business addresses at the residence of defendants Eljvir Duka and Shain Duka. (All of the Dukas charged are brothers.)
• Shain Duka, 26, of the same address as Eljvir Duka in Cherry Hill, also goes by "Shaheen," was born in the former Yugoslavia. Shain Duka is illegally residing in the United States and operates businesses known as Colonial Roofing and National Roofing, both of which list business addresses the same as his residence.
• Serdar Tatar, 23, of Philadelphia, was born in Turkey. Tatar is legally residing in the United States. His last known employment was at a 7-Eleven in Philadelphia.
• Agron Abdullahu, 24, of Buena Vista Township, Atlantic County, was born in the former Yugoslavia. Abdullahu is legally residing in the United States and is employed at a Shop-Rite supermarket.
The Duka brothers and Abdullahu are ethnic Albanians born in the former Yugoslavia.

Press Release by ALIPAC about the upcoming primary elections!

Illegal Immigration & Amnesty Supporters Endorse McCain for President!

February 4, 2008

CONTACT: ALIPAC, press@alipac.us, (866) 329-3999

In defiance of the polling data on illegal immigration and GOP voters, the nation is led to believe that John McCain is poised to win a close race against Mitt Romney in tomorrow's primary voting on "Super Tuesday", in what will be heralded as a public mandate for amnesty, if McCain wins. Geraldo Rivera and Juan Hernandez, two of the most flagrant supporters of illegal immigration and amnesty in the media, have both announced their support for McCain. The National Council of La Raza (NCLR) also known as the Council of the (Hispanic) Race has announced their positive feelings for McCain, while labeling any group or personality in the media opposed to amnesty as an ally of the KKK.

Even Ruben Navarrette, a CNN columnist, who constantly rants in support of illegal immigration, while slinging mud at anyone who stands up for immigration enforcement, loves John McCain. "Supposedly, three US Senate incumbents who are DC insiders are the favorite pick of voters at a time when the American public is outraged at the DC status quo," says William Gheen of ALIPAC. "The McClintObama 'front runners' in the primary would suggest that Americans are happy with the Congress, supportive of Amnesty, and feel that the Washington insiders have led the nation in the right direction on issues such as the War, the economy, and illegal immigration."

Recent polls have shown historic readings showing more Americans feel the nation is on the wrong track than ever before, while showing approval levels for Congress at historic lows. While the anti-illegal immigration GOP voters are split between Romney, Huckabee, and Paul, many are starting to coalesce around the Romney campaign, in a last ditch effort to stop John McCain. The fact that Huckabee is attacking Romney leads many to believe he has cut a deal with McCain to stay in the race and play the role of political spoiler. "Every major illegal immigration supporter is signaling they want McCain to win the GOP primary," says William Gheen. "If that happens tomorrow, it will be final proof that America's political system has become a multi-million dollar charade.

It is hard to picture the political anarchy that will follow, if the 80% of Americans who oppose illegal immigration and amnesty find themselves trapped in a choice between a Democrat like Clinton and Obama, or a Republican like McCain which all stand for the same thing, especially on the immigration issue. The McClintObama scenario is a national train wreck in motion!" ALIPAC released an article over the weekend titled "McClintObama Amnesty Plan: 20 million illegal alien voters by 2010", which now appears on over 1,000 websites.
